15 May 2013 – With Ramadan fast approaching, locals may wonder where to spend their Summer without being exposed to soaring temperatures, but still surrounded by those comforts and traditions which help them to complete the scared rituals that accompany the Holy month. This summer the Tschuggen Grand, set in the alpine surroundings of Arosa Switzerland, has created a package which enables Muslim travellers to do just this.
The ‘ Arabian Nights’ package offers guests a Halal breakfast before sunrise and the opportunity to unwind at the Bergoase Spa which is built into the side of the mountain . The package also includes a free pass to the private 'Tschuggen Express' railway which escorts guests from the hotel to the Swiss Alps in less than three minutes.
From the 5th July the hotel will facilitate a range of extra services throughout the property to ensure that all Arabic guests feel fully at home during their stay. In addition to the 'Arabian Nights' package, traditional food will be available upon request, and those wishing to observe prayer time will be provided with prayer rugs, directions to Mecca and even separate gender facilities. Additionally, room service will respect Ramadan hours and a private spa suite is available with a Ladies only sauna. If guests wish to be catered for in total privacy, the hotel can arrange a private butler service.
